Middleberg School offers Junior High Cheerleading to students in the 5th through 8th grade. Middleberg Cheerleaders show their school spirit while performing at pep rallies, on the sideline, and during halftime. Their performances include chants, cheers, dances, stunting and LOTS of SPIRIT! Cheerleaders attend camp during the summer to learn their material for the upcoming year. Try-outs are held in the spring for students wishing to be a Middleberg Cheerleader. The squad consists of ten members. Students are selected for the squad by judges' scores at try-outs and by teacher evaluations. Cheerleaders are required to attend all 5/6 and 7/8 basketball games.  Mrs. Mykella Clouse coaches the cheerleading squad.
