Middleberg School app is here!
Middleberg Schools announced today that it is working with School Connect, an Oklahoma-based, mobile application developer for K12 school systems and institutions, to launch a free mobile app for the district.
The app will be available for download in both the Apple and Android app stores (click below). School Connect's app development and hosting services are free to the school district and there will be no download charges for mobile users. The company has received much attention since launching its first app in October 2011 for Norman Public Schools. That app was a Top 25 free education app at the Apple store within 24 hours of its launch. Superintendent Harris said the school district is excited about the School Connect partnership and that it will enhance school-to-parent and school-to-community communications. The superintendent added that the app will be financially supported by school-friendly sponsors and that it will feature: -Push messaging from both the district and school site levels, -GPS mapping and navigation, -Google calendars to which parents can subscribe, -Online gradebook access, -Tap screens for email and phone for district staff and board of education members, -Multiple language options, including Spanish, -Lunch menus, athletic information, and much more. Dr. Nick Migliorino, School Connect's president, said the company is excited about working with the Middleberg school district and its other partners across the nation to transform school communications. "People rely on their mobile devices for everything - contact, news, messaging, scheduling - so schools serious about community engagement are serious about robust mobile platforms," Migliorino said, noting that robust platforms are typically cost-prohibitive for school entities to develop and maintain. "This makes the free School Connect app high value to its partners and we are proud to partner with this local district. Together, we are taking school communication, transparency and accountability to a much higher level." For more information about School Connect, visit www.schoolconnectapps.com or email Mrs. Remy by clicking here.
If you download the app, and it doesn't appear to be working or locks up, turn the app and/or the device off and restart. The app should work after you do this
The Blue and Gold Sausage Spring Sale will be from March 1-15 with delivery the week of March 26-30.
